Pediatric dentistry is an age defined specialty that provides primary and comprehensive, preventive and therapeutic oral health care for infants and children through adolescence, including those with special health care need.

- To provide optimum oral health care for infants, children, adolescents and persons with special health needs.

- Offer dental care that is thoughtful, careful, ethical and based on the most recent scientific evidence and advances
- Prepare competent individuals for the practice of pediatric dentistry in the private, hospital-based and/or academic setting.
- Augment the oral health knowledge by engaging in continuing dental education programs, research, scholarly activities and outreach programs.

COMMUNITY HEALTH SERVICES
To develop programs and projects for better oral health care of Indian society through community service like dental home and dental camps.
